The invoice, built from the quote she accepted.

One · a job comes in

Stop chasing photos and postcodes.

Send one link in the conversation you’re already having. Your customer fills in the job details, address and photos, and it all arrives together in TradeQuart ready for you to review.

plumbquote.co.uk/request/your-business

Your link, your business. Put it on your website, send it in a text or WhatsApp message, or keep it saved on your phone for the next enquiry.

The request form your customers fill in.

  • See the job before you price it

Photos and a proper description give you more to work with than “there’s something leaking under the boiler”.

  • Everything arrives together

Customer details, job address, description and photos stay with the request instead of being scattered through messages.

  • Turn it off whenever you want

Stop accepting new requests, or change the address of the link, from your own settings.

Two · from enquiry to quote

Keep the conversation simple.

Your customer doesn’t need another app or an account. Send them the link, review what comes back, build the quote and share it in the conversation you’re already having.

Hi, my boiler keeps losing pressure and I’ve noticed a bit of water underneath it. Any chance you could have a look?

Customer

Looks good — just accepted it. Thanks.

When the job’s done, turn the accepted quote into the invoice.

The figures are already there, so you’re not typing the same job out again. Your business details, logo and payment instructions are carried through to the document.

Share it however you normally work.

Download the document and send it by email, WhatsApp, text or whatever you already use with that customer. TradeQuart doesn’t try to become your messaging app.

Three · your prices

Set your rates once. Use them on every quote.

Labour, call-out charges, material mark-up and VAT live in one place. When you build a quote, TradeQuart works from those numbers instead of relying on whatever you happen to remember that evening.

Supplier put a price up? Change it once and the next quote uses the new figure. Quotes you’ve already sent stay exactly as they were.

Every published quote and issued invoice keeps its own copy of the figures it was created with.

why TradeQuart

You don’t need another system trying to run the whole business.

There are plenty of platforms for diaries, vans, staff, payments, stock, CRM and everything else. TradeQuart isn’t trying to replace them.

It’s for the bit that often ends up happening after hours: getting enough information to price the job, putting together a proper quote and producing the invoice afterwards.

  • Focused on the paperwork

Requests, pricing, quotations and invoices. That’s the job.

  • Your customer relationship stays yours

No customer portal to manage. No customer app. Share links and documents using the conversations you already have.

  • Your customer’s money never comes through us

Put your own payment terms and bank-transfer details on the invoice. Your customer pays you directly; TradeQuart never collects or holds that money.

The idea is simple: do this small part of the job properly instead of bolting a dozen average tools around it.

questions

Do my customers need an app or an account?

No. They open the link you send them, fill in the request or review the quote in their browser, and that’s it. Nothing to install and no account to create.

Does TradeQuart take customer payments?

No. Your customer pays you directly. You can put your own payment terms and bank-transfer details on the invoice, but TradeQuart never collects, holds or transfers the customer’s money.

What if I’m not VAT registered?

Leave VAT turned off and TradeQuart won’t add a VAT line. If you are VAT registered, add your VAT number and rate and it will appear on the relevant documents.

Can I use my business name and logo?

Yes. Add your business details and logo once and they’re used on your documents. You can preview how your quotation and invoice will look from Business details.

Can I download quotes and invoices as PDFs?

Yes. Both can be downloaded as PDFs, ready to save, print or send to the customer.

What happens if I change my details after sending a quote or issuing an invoice?

Existing published documents keep the details and figures they were created with. Changes to your business details or pricing apply to future documents instead.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. It runs in the browser and is designed to work on phones as well as desktop computers. There’s no app to install.

How is customer information protected?

Each business can only access its own customer and job data. Customer photos are stored privately and are only available to the business that received the request.
