Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 August 2026

These terms govern your use of TradeQuart, a quoting and invoicing tool for UK plumbing and heating businesses. By creating an account — including by signing up with Google — you agree to them.

What TradeQuart is

TradeQuart lets you collect job requests and photos from your customers, price the work from your own rates, and produce quotations and invoices. It is a paperwork tool: it does not manage your diary, staff, vans or stock, and it does not process, receive or hold any payment between you and your customer. Your customer pays you directly, by whatever method you already arrange with them.

Your account

TradeQuart is intended for use by a business, not a private individual, and you must be at least 18 to hold an account. You’re responsible for keeping your login details secure and for anything that happens under your account. If you sign in with Google, your account is tied to that Google account rather than a password — you’re still responsible for keeping that Google account secure.

Your data, and your customers’ data

Information about your business belongs to you. Information your customers submit through your request link also belongs to you — TradeQuart stores and processes it on your behalf so it can reach you, but you are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and use it, and for your own relationship with your customer. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle it.

Acceptable use

Use TradeQuart for genuine plumbing/heating quoting and invoicing work. Don’t use it to send unlawful, abusive or fraudulent requests or documents, don’t try to bypass its security or rate limits, and don’t use it to collect data from people who haven’t agreed to receive your request link.

Fees

TradeQuart is currently offered without charge, during its beta period. If paid plans are introduced in future, we’ll present the pricing and billing terms clearly before anything is charged — nothing about your existing use will be billed retroactively.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using TradeQuart and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms — for example, abusive use or an attempt to circumvent security controls — and will use the contact details on the account to explain why wherever practical.

No warranty, limitation of liability

TradeQuart is provided “as is”. We work to keep it available and correct, but don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, TradeQuart is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service; nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as for fraud.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use TradeQuart after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
